Charnwood is managed by an experienced and dedicated manager who is passionate about delivering excellent care for older people; she leads a team of dedicated and well trained carers, and is supported by administration and ancillary staff. For all staff, rigorous training and on-going supervision ensures that the highest standards are constantly maintained.
We take a professional and thorough approach to our recruitment process. Staff are only selected following our rigorous procedure which ensures we only appoint workers that are suitably checked prior to the commencement of their role. The standards aim to instil confidence and reassure relatives and families that workers appointed to provide services to vulnerable people are safe to do so.
The process involves personal interview, the taking up of 3 professional references, a criminal records bureau check (CRB) and a POVA/ISA check. This is followed up thorough induction training and support throughout their career. |
